Bluebirds looking strong

Cardiff manager Dave Jones hopes to boast an almost fully-fit squad for the top-of-the-table clash at QPR. Influential winger Chris Burke (thigh) and defender Lee Naylor (groin) missed last weekend`s disappointing 2-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest while Kevin McNaughton and Darcy Blake emerged with muscle injuries. The quartet will be assessed ahead of the Loftus Road encounter, as will midfielder Stephen McPhail who was ruled out due to illness. Several members of Cardiff`s squad have struggled with the virus at the start of this week, while manager Dave Jones battled through last Saturday despite suffering. But the bug appears to have been shaken off in plenty of time for the eagerly-anticipated clash. Forward Craig Bellamy will captain the Bluebirds having earlier this week admitted he is finally getting back to full fitness for the first time since his loan move from Manchester City.
