Bluebirds home to Burton in Carling Cup
Cardiff City will face League 2 side Burton Albion at the Cardiff City Stadium in this years Carling Cup 1st round. The teams have never met before.Burton, nicknamed The Brewers, finished 10 points off the play offs in their first season in League 2 after promotion from the conference a year ago.The Carling Cup games will be played week commencing August 9th, that's just after the opening League game on the weekend of Aug 7th.
