Bluebirds hit with injury problems
The Bluebirds' squad was hit by illness ahead of Saturday's 1-1 draw with Blackpool and they suffered a further blow when young striker Josh Magennis was stretchered off just half an hour into his first Championship start.[LNB]Magennis sustained a broken fibula following a 50-50 challenge and Jones will hope striker Jay Bothroyd recovers from the virus that forced him out of the Blackpool clash.[LNB]Fellow frontman Ross McCormack lasted 74 minutes despite also suffering with a virus and should be fit to start once again.[LNB]However midfielder Chris Burke is set to miss out after coming off with a rib injury at the weekend, while Joe Ledley continues to play despite carrying a hip injury.[LNB][LNB][LNB]
