Bluebirds chief makes cash vow

The Bluebirds could lose a host of top players following their unsuccessful promotion bid, with Joe Ledley, Ross McCormack and Roger Johnson all linked with big-money moves. And Ridsdale says he will re-invest any transfer cash back into the team to allow Jones to build another promotion-challenging side. "If players are sold then the majority of money raised will be invested in new signings," Ridsdale told Wales Online. "There are still some additional costs on moving to the new stadium to that which was anticipated, but we have moved from having to sell millions of pounds worth of players to survive to a situation where we can pick and choose which bids to accept and give the majority of that money to Dave Jones to strengthen the squad."
