Bluebirds boss to ask about Gibson

Jones is keen to improve his squad when the transfer window reopens and wants Gibson to aid Cardiff's push for promotion to the Premier League.[LNB]He has previously tried to sign the Republic of Ireland man on loan and will again ask Sir Alex Ferguson if he can take Gibson for the rest of the season.[LNB]However, with the 22-year-old having featured regularly for United in recent weeks due to the club's injury crisis, Jones doubts he will receive a positive answer from Ferguson.[LNB]"Why would Darron Gibson come here when he's playing for United?" said Jones in the News of the World.[LNB]"We've enquired about him in the past. I will go back to Sir Alex and ask him again about Darron. [LNB]"I will probably get the same answer as I did last time. He will chuckle down the phone and say 'Get lost!' [LNB]"Darron is in United's team at the moment and he has scored a few goals for them this season. [LNB]"I've got a good relationship with Sir Alex but I can't see him saying, 'Okay Dave, I've got no players but I'll let you have him'. [LNB]"But I'll ask because Darron is on my list. [LNB]"January is the halfway stage and we need to kick on for the rest of the season."[LNB][LNB] Coca Cola Championship. Click here to bet.
