Bluebirds avoid winding-up order

The Bluebirds owe an undisclosed debt to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs but insist the payments are on schedule and that the club remains on a sound financial footing.[LNB]A statement on the club's official website read: "Cardiff City Football Club have a payment schedule in place with HRMC, and there is no prospect of the club being wound up.[LNB]"This payment schedule was agreed with HRMC some time ahead of the court hearing.[LNB]"Cardiff City have every confidence in their future financial stability and fully expect to be in a position to make further investment in its playing squad in the January transfer window."[LNB]The news comes on the same day the club appointed Malaysian tycoon Dato Chan Thien Ghee onto the board.[LNB][LNB]
