The increase, partly due to the club's move away from Ninian Park and into the 27,000 all-seater Cardiff City Stadium, represents the fourth highest percentage increase in the Championship.[LNB]The average home crowd watching the Bluebirds between August and December was 20,969 compared to 17,886 last season, while crowds in general across the Football League have risen by more than 3% to ensure numbers remain at their highest levels for 50 years.[LNB]Cardiff's highest league attendance last season was 20,156 for the visit of bitter rivals Swansea, but that has been smashed several times this season, most notably for the visit of Newcastle back in September when 25,630 were watching.[LNB][LNB]
