The Wales international midfielder has been playing through the pain barrier of late but he is finally set to get the operations he needs, with the first one taking place next Monday before a second on his other hip two weeks later.[LNB]The procedure could leave him on the sidelines for anything up to eight months and, with his contract set to expire in the summer, that means he may well find himself elsewhere when he returns to full fitness.[LNB]Cardiff host local rivals Bristol City in their FA Cup third-round replay on Tuesday, although Ledley would be available to face Leicester in the fourth round on Saturday should the Welsh outfit make it through.[LNB]The 23-year-old told the South Wales Echo: "We have a super medical team at the club, but whether I will make another game before the end of the season I don't know. I have been struggling with the hip and it's not going to get any better without the surgery."[LNB]Regarding a new contract, he added: "The club is still talking to my representatives and for that to go any further it has to be good for me, a contract that I think I deserve. But nothing has been signed either way. But, to be honest, that is not on my mind - Tuesday's game is."[LNB][LNB]
