Blake targets international honours

Cardiff defender Darcy Blake hopes the appointment of Brian Flynn as Wales caretaker manager can earn him a full international call-up. Blake played under Flynn for the country's U21 side and believes his recent performances for the Bluebirds could warrant a call-up to the senior squad for next month's Euro 2012 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Switzerland. "Brian Flynn is in charge for two games and it would be fantastic if he was given the job long-term," Blake told Wales Online. "He has done a good job for the U21 team and hopefully I am in with a good shout of being selected for the senior squad again."
