22 May 2011 23:18
An amazing afternoon in the Premier League saw drama, twists and turns with two from five sides getting relegated. Fourteen times the live table changed as goals went in around the country. The upshot was that Blackpool and Birmingham City lost their Premier League status and join Cardiff in next seasons Champonship. Wolves, Wigan and Blackburn survived. We now know 22 of the 24 teams for next season. Birmingham, Blackpool, West Ham, Cardiff, Forest, Leeds, Burnley, Millwall, Leicester, Hull, Middlesbrough, Ipswich, Watford, Bristol City, Portsmouth, Barnsley, Coventry, Derby, Crystal Palace, Doncaster, Brighton and Southampton. Two places to fill. The winners of the Huddersfield v Peterborough play off final and the loser of the Swansea v Reading final.
