Bids rejected for Whittingham
Two offers for City's midfield talisman have been turned down. Both thought to be from Fulham. And now rumours suggest he may be offered an improved contract just one year after signing an extension. Malky Mackay, currently at a pre-season training camp in Switzerland said: "He is a Cardiff City player and we are looking to keep our best players. Alan Whiteley added "We have had two offers from the same club and rejected them both. "They do not come up to our aspirations, nor do we have any desire to sell Peter. As far as we're concerned Peter is going nowhere."
