Bellamy mania starting up again
Monday until this evening has been a bit disappointing as far as City signing Craig Bellamy has been concerned. The national press and the national radio stations have given the potential move plenty of coverage but crucially neither Cardiff, Man City or Craig Bellamy had anything to say about it.Was Bellamy in Cardiff? Is this a ruse to get another club to come in for him and later in the day Sky reports that Bellamy is due to train with Man City on Tuesday.Monday turned into a finger pointing session with supporters having ago at the press for announcing yesterday it was a done deal and fans were quick to chip at each other as it seems the deal is/was far from happening.BUT from 6pm onwards tonight the talk of Bellamy signing is coming back with a vengence. Real Radio were happy to suggest a deal could be completed inside 24 hours and MB posters who carry respect are suggesting it could now be a done deal.Robbie Savage on Radio 5 says he spoke to Craig Bellamy this evening and Bellamy told him he'd be signing for a club on Tuesday, a club that he's been talking to today. Well Bellamy was supposed to be with Cardiff today. Is it adding up?I understand this evening that the latest is that Cardiff can raise money for the wages if Man City are reasonable. Other clubs are competing with us but as previously reported Man City do not want him playing for a top Premier League club.The deal is not dead, far from it. Cardiff are well in the mix and possibly could still be one of the front runners for his signature.Tuesday is going to be another day of constantly refreshing the internet.
