3rd place beckons. A nice incentive

Cardiff would go 3rd if they were to beat Nottingham Forest at the City Ground later today. It won't be easy as Forest have won their last 12 League games at home.Nothing will be settled for City today regarding a play off spot but a decent result at Forest coupled with Blackpool slipping up could make the last four games a bit less stressful.Bank Holiday Monday fixtures:Barnsleyv Peterborough15.00Blackpoolv Doncaster15.00C.Palacev Preston NE15.00Derbyv Ipswich15.00Leicesterv QPR15.00Newcastlev Sheff Utd19.45Nottm Forestv Cardiff City17.15Plymouthv Middlesbrough15.00Readingv Coventry15.00Sheff Wedsv Bristol City15.00Swansea Cityv Scunthorpe15.00Watfordv West Brom15.00Current League Table:Latest match Saturday,3rd April 2010PldHomeAwayOverallPtsEPWDLFAWDLFAWDLFA1Newcastle United 401640489974292125114773086+472West Bromwich Albion 4115244520983362324107814382+383Nottingham Forest 411613391341071722201110563571+214Cardiff City 4111553418938353220813695068+195Swansea City 418931511786192215179343362+16Leicester City 41106430176781826161312484361+57Blackpool 41115440205792632161213665260+148Middlesbrough 4187623206683125141314544555+99Doncaster Rovers 4187626236682626141314524955+310Sheffield United 411083342045112032141314545255+211Bristol City 41810335334791627121712516053-912Reading 39775251973102736141015525552-313Coventry City 41885262455101930131315455452-914Ipswich Town 41810323193892132111812445151-715Derby County 41112733283711152914918485751-916Barnsley 4185723266411263614918496251-1317Preston North End 418103322344122039121415526250-1018Queens Park Rangers 40794352646101933111514545948-519Scunthorpe United 4095633284313174213819507047-2020Sheffield Wednesday 41848272738101734111218446145-1721Watford 40857312536112037111118516244-1122Crystal Palace (-10)41749202361052323131414434643-323Plymouth Argyle 4156919246213233411822425841-1624Peterborough United 4165103134141510347925416830-27
