Name: Samuel Eto'o
Age: 29
Club: Inter Milan
International caps: 94
International goals: 44
Eto'o began his career at Real Madrid, but it wasn't until he arrived at Mallorca in 2000 that the goals started to flow.
He scored 48 in 120 appearances for the Spanish club, prompting a 24 million euros move to La Liga giants Barcelona in 2004.
Eto'o was a instant hit at the Nou Camp, collecting 25 league goals in his debut season and 26 the next - and helping Barca to consecutive domestic titles and a Champions League triumph in 2006.
In his final season at Barca he scored a remarkable 30 goals in 36 La Liga games, and picked up a second Champions League winners medal.
Barca then chose to exchange Eto'o and 46 million euros for Inter Milan's Zlatan Imbrahovic - a deal that raised eyebrows all over the world.
On the international stage, Eto'o has scored 44 times in 94 appearances for Cameroon - their all-time leading scorer.
He was part of their African Nations winning sides in 2000 and 2002, and also picked up a gold medal when Cameroon won the Olympic title in 2000.
