Parkinson aims to repay U's faith

Cambridge winger Andy Parkinson is looking to repay the club's faith in him after spending most of last season on the sidelines with injury. The 30-year-old recovered from knee ligament damage in March and had feared he would be transfer listed before the start of next season. He told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "I had a great physio in Greg Reid. I didn't really want the season to end. "I had a meeting with the manager and he said they've got faith in me."
