Ling resigns as Cambridge manager

Cambridge United manager Martin Ling has resigned from his position after only nine days in the job. The club have cited "irreconcilable differences between Martin Ling and chairman George Rolls" as the reason. A club statement said: "The club has reluctantly accepted his resignation.
