Holroyd signs Cambridge extension

Cambridge United have exercised the option to extend the contract of striker Chris Holroyd for next season.The 22-year-old joined the U's on a free transfer last August after his contract at Chester City was terminated by mutual consent. U's boss Gary Brabin told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "I'm delighted with Chris and I think there's a lot more to come from him. "It was an easy decision to make as we certainly wanted Chris on board."
