Jermaine Easter has made his loan move from Hartlepool United to Cambridge United permanent.
The 22-year-old forward spent the final three months of the season on loan at the Abbey Stadium, scoring twice in 15 appearances.
He has now agreed to have the final year of his Pools contract cancelled and has signed a 12-month deal with Cambridge.
Easter began his career as a trainee at Wolves before joining Hartlepool in 2001, but failed to start a single league game and was loaned to Spennymoor United before joining the U's in February.
