York extended their winning run in the Blue Square Premier to nine games as they overcame struggling Cambridge.The U's looked more likely to break the deadlock in the first half with Robbie Wilmott having several efforts on goal. Neil Barrett gave York an early second-half lead with their first attempt on target by firing past U's keeper Danny Potter from outside the area.
