Cambridge to check on Scott Wharton ahead of Leyton Orient clash

Cambridge defender Scott Wharton will be assessed ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet League Two clash with Leyton Orient.

The on-loan Blackburn defender withdrew from the Accrington loss with a hamstring injury sustained in the warm-up and missed the win at Crewe.

James Dunne remains doubtful due to a heel injury, while his fellow midfielder Piero Mingoia is definitely out with a groin problem.

Josh Coulson (ankle) remains a long-term absentee.

Leyton Orient could have Nigel Atangana back in their squad.

Atangana had a scan on a groin injury prior to the Wycombe fixture on Saturday but interim manager Omer Riza is hopeful that the midfielder will be available for the trip.

Full-back Myles Judd missed their 2-0 defeat against Wycombe due to a back injury and will be assessed before Saturday's fixture.

Alex Cisak (groin), Charlie Grainger (groin), Yvan Erichot (pelvic), Sammy Moore (knee), Robbie Weir (Achilles), Gavin Massey (knee) and Paul McCallum (knee) all remain sidelined.
