Marchetti seeks Cagliari exit

Cagliari have confirmed that Italy World Cup goalkeeper Federico Marchetti wants to leave the club.
The 27-year-old was promoted from the bench in South Africa after number one Gianluigi Buffon picked up a back injury and he is now actively seeking a move.
Arsenal and Sampdoria have apparently shown an interest in him and a statement of the club's website read: "Cagliari Calcio take note of the fact that Federico Marchetti has expressed his wish to leave due to his declaration with the press.
"The club will do everything to make him content. Should Marchetti really have to leave Cagliari, then the regular keeper will be Agazzi. Cagliari aren't looking for another keeper."
