Worrall can be key for Bury

Bury manager Alan Knill has challenged David Worrall to be a force for the Gigg Lane outfit this season.

The youngster, who is on-loan from Championship side West Bromwich Albion, has slotted in on the right wing after Knill spent the summer looking to replace Elliott Bennett - and he now believes he has the man to fill the void.

He has impressed on the flank with his direct play, quality on the ball and he made the assist for Jordan Robertson in Saturday's 1-0 victory against Darlington.

Speaking to Bury Times, Knill said: "David did well on Saturday - he's a very good player.

"He delivered the cross for our goal and he has got unbelievable energy.

"When we lost Elliott we wanted Dave and we're thankful we got him. He's from this area, so the move works well for him."
