Bury manager Alan Knill has made a triple swoop for Tom Lees, Phil Picken and Kyle Bennett. Defender Lees, 20, arrives on a six-month loan deal from Leeds and will boost Knill`s options at centre-half and right-back. He has yet to feature for the Yorkshire club`s first-team but spent last season on loan at Accrington where he made 46 appearances. Joining Lees at Gigg Lane are fellow defender Picken and promising attacking midfielder Bennett, who have both signed 12-month contracts. Picken, a versatile right or left-back, rose through the ranks at Manchester United before signing for Chesterfield in 2006. He was released at the end of last season and has been on trial at Bury over the summer. Bennett, 19, was released by Wolves back in May and has also been with the club over the summer months looking to prove his worth, with his pace and ability in the final third catching the eye of Shakers boss Knill.
