Skipper wants more of the same

The unfashionable Lancashire outfit belied their status as perennial strugglers by reaching the play-off semi-finals. They lost on penalties to Shrewsbury but will head into this campaign as one of the favourites to win promotion. "I think teams have underestimated us in the past and just thought that we are little old Bury who get beat quite a lot," Scott told the Bury Times. "That has changed now. Last season we did really well and made a few people sit up and take notice. We enjoyed being up near the top - there was a real buzz around the place. "We have kept the nucleus of our squad together, and added to it, so we expect to do well again. Hopefully, like last year, we can have a good start to the season and build some momentum."
