Sharps ready for Knill reunion
Sharps was signed by Knill in the summer of 2006 and has proved to be a shrewd acquisition for the League Two team.
The former Tranmere trainee has fond memories of playing under Knill, but any sentiment will be put to one side at Gigg Lane on Saturday.
Sharps said: "Bury away is always going to be a difficult game and I'll be coming up against my old manager, Alan Knill, so he will be looking to get one over us.
"They are a good side but we'll be going there with confidence and looking to get the win."
