Shakers tie up Hurst deal

Bury have completed the signing of the Shrewsbury Town striker Glynn Hurst who has spent a profitable loan spell at Gigg Lane this term.

The 30-year-old has agreed a deal that will keep him with the Shakers until June 2007.

Hurst joined Chris Casper's side in September and has scored nine goals in 18 games during his three-month loan stay with the club.

Before moving to Shrewsbury, Hurst played for Barnsley, Ayr United, Stockport County, Chesterfield and Notts County.
