A stoppage-time penalty by substitute Phil Jevons was enough to take the Shakers level with Wycombe on points, but they were unable to grab the extra goal they needed to climb into the top three on goal difference. Knill's men will have another shot via the play-offs, where they visit Shrewsbury on Thursday with the return leg next Sunday and he believes his players should be holding their heads high. "It wasn't to be but we've got to get over it quickly," he said. "There's people walking round as if something terrible has happened but we should be celebrating. "After the initial disappointment the reality kicks in, and the reality is we finished fourth in a league that nobody fancied us in. "For us just to be in the play-offs is an unbelievable achievement considering where we've been. It seems like it's been a short time but in reality it's been 15 months since we were fourth bottom."
