Shakers extend Bennett stay

Bury have extended the loan stay of Wolves winger Elliott Bennett until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Gigg Lane and has impressed again since returning to the League Two club this term.

Shakers boss Alan Knill told the club's official website: "(Wolves boss) Mick McCarthy is happy for him to stay with us.

"It's fantastic from Wolves, they were here last weekend to watch him and are very pleased with his progress.

"I'm delighted that he will stay with us until the end of the season."
