Shakers close in on Dawson

Bury are on the verge of signing Mansfield Town's highly-rated midfielder Stephen Dawson.
Shakers boss Alan Knill believes the 22-year-old will be the ideal replacement for Dale Stephens, who has agreed to move to Oldham Athletic.
Director Ian Harrop told the Bury Times: "Stephen is one of a number of players we're currently in negotiation with. Hopefully, the deal will be concluded shortly."
Meanwhile, Dave Buchanan, Glynn Hurst, Cameron Belford and Brian Barry-Murphy are all expected to sign new Gigg Lane deals before the end of June, although Nicky Adams is still undecided on his future.
Dawson has made more than 100 appearances for the Stags in his three seasons at Field Mill.
