Shakers boss seeks improvement

Some poor defending allowed Paul Benson to put the Daggers ahead but Daniel Nardiello equalised on the stroke of half-time.[LNB]Nardiello then hit the crossbar from close range before Andy Morrell lifted the ball over with just home keeper Tony Roberts to beat. Bury were made to pay when Benson turned in his second goal of the game.[LNB]Ryan Lowe almost snatched a point for the Shakers but scuffed his chance wide, while Ben Futcher also put a header over. Dagenham made sure of the points in injury time when on-loan Chelsea full-back Nana Ofori-Twumasi drilled a low shot past Wayne Brown.[LNB]"They were better at both ends which is where it counts," said Knill. "We had a lot of play, but they took their chances and we didn't. They kept our efforts out and we didn't do that, which is simple really.[LNB]"In between that, it was pretty even, but it's what happens in both boxes and we concede three goals in our box. If they're great goals you hold your hands up, but they were pretty poor goals for a defending team."[LNB][LNB]
