Shakers boss facing striking dilemma

02 October 2009 15:41
Tuesday's thrilling 3-2 victory at Crewe - the Shakers' third successive win in League Two - was marred by an an ankle injury to Ryan Lowe. He was replaced after 71 minutes by Danny Racchi, leaving Knill with an anxious wait on his fitness ahead of the long trip south. Fellow frontmen Andy Bishop (groin), Andy Morrell (ankle) and Danny Carlton (Achilles) are already on the treatment table for various injuries and look certain to miss out again. Knill will hope to have skipper Paul Scott available after a thigh injury sustained in training ruled him out of the past two games.
