Shakers assistant leaves Gigg Lane
The former Tranmere and Chesterfield striker arrived at Gigg Lane following former assistant Chris Wilder's departure to fill the vacant managerial post at Blue Square Premier side Oxford United in mid-December.[LNB]But manager Alan Knill conceded his search for Wilder's successor will continue after Allison's position "didn't quite work out as we had hoped".[LNB][LNB]
