Progress delights Bury boss Knill

Bury manager Alan Knill believes his team are better this season than they were at the same stage last year.The Shakers go into the second third of the League Two campaign within two wins of the automatic promotion places. [LNB]He told BBC Radio Manchester: "I think we are better off this year than we were last year and I have to say I'm delighted with the players. [LNB]"There's a progression this year that we are playing with a little bit more pace, a little bit more energy." [LNB]He added: "To be as we are going forward we look as if we're enjoying playing football which I like a lot. [LNB]"They all have an idea of what we want. If they do as we tell them they're going to get better and be better footballers. [LNB]"I think you can see there's a progression, even from last year, as well as we did last year."
