No surprises from Shakers - Knill

The unfancied Shakers enjoyed an outstanding campaign and were only denied a place in the play-off final after a heartbreaking penalty shoot-out defeat to Shrewsbury. Having added Ryan Lowe and Danny Carlton to his squad during the summer, Knill accepts that expectations will be far higher this time around. "I shouted all the way through the season that we were the surprise package, but I can't do that this year because we're not the surprise anymore," said Knill. "We've added two quality strikers and hopefully we will add some more quality. "We finished fourth last season, this year the expectation will be higher and we have to finish better than fourth."
