Newey enjoying Shakers spell

Bury left-back Tom Newey says that he is enjoying life at Gigg Lane, having joined the Shakers from Grimsby Town in the summer.
The 26-year-old ended last season out on loan at Rochdale and was quick to agree a switch to the Shakers to get his career back on track.
He told the Bury Times: "I'm tired at the moment.
"I have had no pre-season, but I'm taking each game as it comes and enjoying playing in a team that plays good football.
"There is more to come from me. I haven't played much football since March last season when I had a loan spell at Rochdale, so this is my first continuous run of games and it's nice to get my fitness back.
"I have played ten games in a row now and hopefully I'll stay in the team until the end of the season."
