New deal for Shakers ace

Bury have secured the long-term future of Richie Baker after agreeing a new two-and-a-half year deal with the teenage midfielder.
The 19-year-old arrived at Gigg Lane on a free transfer from Preston in the summer and has been a hit with the Shakers fans after making 30 appearances.
Baker will stay at the League Two club until summer 2009 and winger Marc Pugh is expected to follow suit by putting pen to paper on a new deal in the next few days.
"I think the club are looking to build a side around the youngsters, like me and Marc Pugh, and I think the pressure will turn us into better players," Baker told the club's official website.
"We want to prove certain clubs wrong who thought we weren't good enough and the gaffer for giving us the chance to play in the side every week."
