Lowe wants to commit to Shakers
Bury have confirmed talks are underway with striker Ryan Lowe with a view to extending his current deal.
Although the length of the contract offered to the experienced forward has not been revealed, the Shakers are hopeful of concluding a deal later in the week.
Boss Alan Knill said: "We're doing something right with Ryan, he's got five goals in seven and is important for us.
"We're talking to him about a new contract, but to be fair to him, he came to us. He enjoys it here and he's a big part of the squad.
"He's a natural leader and leads form the front, hopefully we can sort something out and his record is second to none."
