The 30-year-old was released by relegated Chester at the end of last term, despite being their top scorer with 18 goals. He is excited at the prospect of playing for Alan Knill's men and will compete with fellow new-boy Danny Carlton, Andy Bishop and Andy Morrell for a starting role. "The manager wants players banging on the door itching to play," said Lowe. "He has plenty of options now and that will keep us all on our toes. "All four of us are proven goalscorers and that is an exciting proposition for the supporters and the manager."
