Bury striker Ryan Lowe was named League Two player of the year at the Football League awards. The Shakers forward has scored 24 goals this season to put his side in the frame for automatic promotion. Alan Knill's men lie second in League Two with nine matches remaining, while Lowe set a new club record earlier this month when he scored in nine consecutive games for the Shakers, the last goal in the sequence coming in the 3-0 victory over Hereford on March 5.
