Lowe earns Knill plaudits

Bury boss Alan Knill paid tribute to Ryan Lowe following the comfortable 3-0 victory over Accrington. Lowe grabbed a first-half brace before Nicky Ajose sealed the win for the Shakers. However, the clash ended on a sour note when Stanley's Andy Procter was sent off 15 minutes from time after clashing with Damien Mozika and Johnny Bateson joined him in the bath for a dangerous tackle on Kyle Bennett. Knill said: "Once we got the ball we had to move it quickly and take the chances when we got it, and we did that," "Ryan Lowe was fantastic. He scored two and could have had four. He's a top player, a top professional and a top leader, and he's playing as well as I've seen him play. "He's done fantastic here and we're delighted we've re-signed him."
