Bury have extended Adam Rooney's loan stay at Gigg Lane for another month while Darren Randolph will stay with the Shakers until the end of the season.
Striker Rooney has scored once in seven appearances for Alan Knill's side since joining the club from Stoke City last month.
Knill told the club's official website: "Adam's here for another month. I just need that pressure on the strikers and, if they don't produce, we have somebody on the bench that can come on and push them.
"We're also talking to Gillingham about Efe (Sodje). He wants to stay and he's really enjoying his time here.
"He was excellent again on Saturday so we'll try and get him as soon as possible. I'm hopeful about it because the player wants to stay."
Goalkeeper Randolph moved to Bury from Charlton Athletic in early February and has played in eight matches for the relegation-threatened Shakers.
Meanwhile, former Rotherham shot-stopper Neil Cutler has been confirmed as the club's new first-team goalkeeping coach.
