Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Darren Randolph has joined League Two strugglers Bury on a month's loan.

Shakers boss Alan Knill swooped to sign the 20-year-old Dublin-born shot-stopper on the same day that he brought Stoke City striker Adam Rooney to Gigg Lane.

Randolph has made three first-team appearances for the Addicks and played 14 games while on loan at Accrington Stanley during the 2005-06 campaign.

Last term he made four appearances for Gillingham during a loan spell at the Priestfield Stadium.
