Knill proud as Shakers keep cool
Elliott Bennett headed a fine equaliser to keep the Shakers in the top three and deny spirited Vale a rare victory on home soil. Knill was content with the 1-1 draw as Bury extended their unbeaten run to seven games. He said: "It was a tough game. We didn't play particularly well, but I don't think we deserved to lose. "It was disappointing to go behind, but I never doubted my players for a moment because I knew they would fight back. "You don't get to where we are if you cave in or panic just because you concede a goal. The players showed great commitment and desire and they have been doing that on a regular basis. "Vale have had a tough time and some people might suggest we should win these type of games. But I'm happy with a point away from home and we will take it and move on."
