Knill offers deals to trialists

Bury boss Alan Knill has decided to offer one-year contracts to Mike Jones and Danny Racchi, who have been on trial at Gigg Lane.

Midfielder Jones was released by Tranmere Rovers at the end of last season after making 13 first-team appearances for the League One club.

Racchi moves to Bury from Huddersfield Town after playing six games for the Terriers.

However, Knill has decided not to offer contracts to fellow trialists Phil Marsh and ex-Stockport County defender Paul Tierney.
