Knill keeps the faith

Bury manager Alan Knill refused to be downbeat following his side's 2-1 defeat against Torquay and was full of praise for his players.Brighton loanee Chris Holroyd opened the scoring just four minutes into his Bury debut as the hosts dominated the first half, but Torquay hit back after the break with goals from Craig Stanley and Chris Zebroski to take maximum points.Bury remain second in the table and Knill joked: "These things happen. It could be worse - we could be third in the league."All of a sudden there's a panic, but we're allowed to lose. There's no divine right to win as we're not Man City with loads of money. We are what we are and we're trying our best to continue to be what we are.""You've seen first half how good we can be, but in the second half the opposition did well and we just didn't do enough to take a result. We were brilliant first half and the only thing that was missing was four goals."I have to say that the players are excellent and do everything I ask them to and it worked in the first half, but didn't work in the second half."
