Bury boss Alan Knill was delighted to see his second-placed side keep up their promotion push with a clinical performance against Hereford. The Shakers were two goals to the good thanks to a brace from skipper Steven Schumacher, who then turned provider as Ryan Lowe prolonged his club-record run and scored for a ninth successive match."This was a potential banana skin for us and I was delighted with the players," said Knill. "Hereford were one of the form teams in the division coming into the game."Now we have scored nine goals in a week and conceded just one."Bury were always in control and a neat free-kick move four minutes from the end saw Lowe fire home to continue his incredible scoring record."Ryan Lowe is a top player and he looks as if he is enjoying himself," Knill added. "To score in nine successive games is fantastic but every time he is in front of goal he looks like he's going to score."
