Knill decides on positive outlook
Despite the result, the Shakers remain firmly in the hunt for automatic promotion from League Two following a game in which both sides missed a number of half-chances at Gigg Lane. Knill said: "It's only a point, but it's another point which keeps us going in the right direction. "The game could have gone either way, it was a bit more open in the second half but we didn't lose and that has to be the main thing. "We just lacked that killer touch in the final third. Our approach play was very good at times but, as is so often the case, that last bit always seems to be the hardest. "We can't blame the state of our pitch, we just weren't quite ruthless enough. It's another clean sheet for us too. That's six in seven I think now. I can't complain at that."
