Knill welcomes striker dilemma

Bury boss Alan Knill believes his side will benefit from the increased competition places up front this season. Andy Bishop struck twice and Ryan Lowe and Danny Carlton were also on the scoresheet in the 4-0 win over Leeds in midweek. Bishop and Carlton were injured for large parts of last season but their return to peak fitness has given Knill's squad a major boost. "With all the strikers scoring goals, I now have a dilemma to contend with," said Knill. "Ryan Lowe, Danny Carlton and Andy Bishop are all fighting now because the shape that we played in the first half [against Leeds] has only got one position available for them. "There is some real competition for places there, which is ideal but a dilemma for me."
