Knill - We didn`t take chances

Bury manager Alan Knill cut a frustrated figure after his side lost 1-0 to Tranmere in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy northern quarter-final. Ian Thomas-Moore scored the only goal of the game to send Rovers into the last four. Knill said: "We are obviously all very disappointed because we've come this far in the competition and we didn't want to get knocked out. "I thought we had some good chances in the game and we could have taken the lead, but we weren't clinical enough in front of goal and we paid the price for that. "Credit to Tranmere because they made life difficult for us and when we went behind it meant we had to chase the game. "But like I said we had enough chances there to at least get a draw and we just didn't take them."
