Knill warns Mozika

Bury midfielder Damien Mozika has been warned he risks being left out of the team if he does not sign a new contract with the club. The 23-year-old Frenchman, who agreed a 12-month deal in the summer after playing in Iran, has been offered fresh terms to keep him at Gigg Lane beyond June. But talks have stalled because of the player's wage demands and Knill told the Bury Times: "We have made an offer to him and he and his representatives have said they want more money. If we had more money we might give it to him, but we don't. It is for him to decide now. "I have told him bluntly that I won't have the same situation last year like I had with Stephen Dawson when he knew he was walking out at the end of the season. I have got Steven Schumacher, Peter Sweeney and now James Wallace, who has signed on loan from Everton, in midfield, so I think I am in a strong position."
